Introducing The Palm Harbor Local Podcast

PHL 1 | Palm Harbor Local Podcast

Welcome to Palm Harbor Local! I’m your host, Florida native and Real Estate Ninja, Donnie Hathaway. I am excited to introduce you to your favorite local businesses and maybe even inspire you to achieve your dreams. I’m a big believer in supporting small business owners because they have created some awesome products or businesses. And let’s be honest, they are really great people, too. My mission is to help the small business owners get the love they deserve and for you to get the chance to meet them. Learn about their dreams, struggles, and what they enjoy doing when they are not running the business. I think you will begin to see that they are just like everyone else. The only difference is they decided to feel the fear of starting a business and do it anyway. Let’s go!

Introducing The Palm Harbor Local Podcast

I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about this show, Palm Harbor Local, where the idea came from, and what you can expect when reading it. As someone who was born and raised in Florida, I’ve spent most of my time here in Pinellas County. I’ve seen the expansive growth of the Tampa Bay area over the last decade or so. I’ve also seen small businesses come and go while others thrive and continue to grow their business.

Tampa Bay is home to some awesome small businesses and even better people. The Florida sunshine brings the best people down from all over the country. Don’t get me wrong, Florida has some oddballs out there, but you can’t let that take away from the ones who are doing it right. My name is Donnie Hathaway, a Florida native, and real estate ninja.

I want to take a few minutes to tell you what you can expect from this show. I’ve spent most of my life of 34 years living here in Pinellas County. For the last few years, I have been helping families buy and sell real estate. This business has introduced me to some great people and amazing businesses. Each individual has their own unique story, and that’s why I fell in love with the real estate business.

Palm Harbor Local Podcast: Get to know the people, their businesses, and how they’ve made an impact in the Palm Harbor area.

When I got started in real estate, my whole plan was to be an investor. I wanted to be an agent for a couple of years, learn the business, take what I learned from that and apply it to buying and selling homes, renting them out, and selling properties. Because of these people in our area and their unique stories, it’s why I fell in love with the real estate business.

I’ve enjoyed getting to meet people and learn their stories. Because of that, I want to share these stories with you. You can get to know these people, too, their businesses, and how they’ve made an impact in the Palm Harbor area. My small family of three has lived in Palm Harbor now for the last few years. One of the reasons we love it so much is the small-town vibe that it brings.

We’re going to be interviewing other Palm Harbor locals and businesses who have made an impact in the Palm Harbor area and discussing all things Palm Harbor. I hope you enjoy this show, Palm Harbor Local. I want this to be a community show as well. If there’s somebody in the area that you think would be great in the show or interested in being on the show, then send us an email over at PalmHarborLocal@Gmail.com.
